COMMUNITY EXPO FOR LOCAL BUSINESS OWNERS: Celebrating 1 year of community empowerment.
Who: Pretty Promises is a nonprofit empowerment organization for women. We stand to redevelop the high crime, low income community through empowering, educating and elevating the women (who are more likely to be head of household). We empower through drives, give-a ways, etc. We educate through community development projects. We elevate the minds of the women in our monthly support meetings about different topics. Every month we are in the community giving back. We strive to be the change we wish to see in our community.
What: For our 1 year anniversary of empowerment. Our desire is to bring together all local business owners (and those who desire to have a business). We hope to empower, educate and elevate owners into self-sufficiency. We want to encourage them to believe in their dreams as well as influence these small business owners to network amongst each other.
When: This event will take place on Saturday, September 26,2015
Where: Miami Job Corps. 3050 NW 183rd street Miami, Fl 33056
How: We will empower these business owners with testimonials from business owners who started off small and now have properly branded themselves. We will educate these business owners by bringing in Accountants, Advisors, Marketing experts and City officials to guide them as business owners (business 101). We will elevate them by building their confidence in their own ability as well as by promoting their businesses at this event.
Why: This is essential if we want to see a change in the Low income Communities. We are all gifted with talents. People who lack education will be educated, if they lack motivation they will be elevated and if they lack support, they will be empowered at this event.
