Roc ‘N Rollies Music’s artist Purpose releases music video for “On My Own”, the current single from upcoming project. The music video debuted on WorldStar HipHop and is available on iTunes and other music providers.
The video was shot in various locations in Miami, such as Little Haiti and Overtown. It was a “rollies” affair for Purpose featuring members of his family, community, and friends. During the video, Purpose takes the opportunity to show love to men and women who have lost their life to senseless acts of gun violence and how it has personally affected by it.
With the talented Sam Brave as director of the video, Purpose’s true essence of remorse towards his past decisions were brought to life. Achieving his goal of conveying and communicating a feeling and an explicit message.
“Most of the people I grew up with are either dead or in jail. I don’t want to be a part of that anymore. I’ve missed out on too many of life’s beauty,” says Purpose.
The video is made up of scenes that utilize Miami’s signature colors. The bright colors represent the liveliness of the city and hope for the future. As a contrast, the darker scenes represent the moments of reflection.
This spring, Purpose will release is follow up record "On The Regular," a club banger with catchy hooks and lyrics everyone can relate to. Purpose is on a journey and wants his rollies to be a part of it no matter where they are. He is developing and interactive community of rollies
